CORECHED Prize


CORECHED Prize in Educational Research 2007

The Swiss Council for Educational Research (CORECHED) has decided to award their prize for educational research to two research projects.

One prize goes to the Bernese educational researcher Erich Ramseier for his work about motivation and outcome of schooling: Erich Ramseier: „Motivation als Ergebnis und als Determinante schulischen Lernens. Eine Analyse im Rahmen von TIMSS.“ Dissertation Universität Zürich (2004).

The other prize goes to the Research group of Prof. Madelon Saada-Robert in Geneva for their work about didactics of writing: Madelon Saada-Robert; Martine Auvergne; Kristine Balslev; Véronique Claret-Girard; Katia Mazurczak; Carole Veuthey: „Ecrire pour lire dès 4 ans. Didactique de l’entrée dans l’écrit". Cahiers de la section des sciences de l’éducation, Université de Genève (2005).

Both prizes were awared in public on April 18th, 2007 by the Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard and the President of the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education, Cantonal Councillor Isabelle Chassot.
